Biography:

Lenny Buramura was born in Mudginberri, many years before the area became incorporated into Kakadu Naonal Park. He spends

most of his me living with his family at Mudginberri, but occasionally travels into Arnhem Land to visit family and country.

Lenny is an experienced arst who has painted for many years and who brings his own approach and style to his work, oen using

blues and greens. He paints some of the more common wildlife subjects of West Arnhem art, such as ngalmangiyi (necked turtle) and

kedjebe (file snake), but also produces some pieces with some of the less common wildlife, such as yok the bandicoot.
