Clothing The Gaps - Icon Tee
The Icon Spirit Tee has a large back print featuring some of our beloved Aboriginal symbols of resistance and culture including an outline of the Aboriginal flag, a decolonised map of “Australia” and Bunjil, a well known wedge-tailed eagle - who is the spiritual creator and protector of the Kulin Nation in Victoria
The Clothing The Gaps logo takes pride of place on the front pocket square with the word 'NARRM' underneath to recognise the land on which we operate our Aboriginal Social Enterprise. We acknowledge and respect the different meaning the word Narrm has to both Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung people in the Central Kulin Nation.
In Woiwurrung Ngulu, it means 'place'. Wurundjeri use this word to refer to the scrubland (Narrm) of the now Greater Melbourne CBD area.
Boonwurrung people use this word to refer to ‘The Bay’ and refers to Port Phillip Bay area of Victoria.
