Jay Van Nus (he/they) is a Contemporary artist living and working on Waddawurrung Land in regional Victoria.

A proud Bibbulmun Noongar and Chilean transgender visual artist, Jay’s work is deeply rooted in cultural storytelling and personal expression. Engaging with both traditional and digital mediums, they create powerful visual narratives that honor identity, heritage, and creativity.

From paintings, murals, and exhibitions to animation, design, and workshops, Jay’s diverse artistic practice bridges the worlds of Contemporary First Nations art and modern digital expression. Passionate about sharing stories through art, Jay is dedicated to fostering connection and representation through their creative work.
